A Storied History
Originally established in 1869 as Moline Malleable Iron Company, the company’s foundry manufactured thousands of castings and products for a variety of industries throughout the latter half of the 19th century. Through the early to mid-1900s, Moline Corporation became a major supplier of chains, castings, and eventually bearings, serving companies worldwide with solutions that bore the same hallmark of excellence that continues to this day. Innovation, product reliability, and outstanding service became core tenets of the business while the company continued to evolve and modernize in an ever-changing world that increasingly demanded the best in its power transmission.
A New Chapter
In 1992, the bearing division was spun off into its own entity, giving birth to the new Moline Bearing Company that still exists today. With it came the same dedication to its customers, a culture of excellence, and quality workmanship that can only be forged through generations of blood, sweat, and tears.
